Why we built one table instead of 225 separate pages
This calculator computes a single, nationally-uniform gold rate: the international spot price for gold, converted to Indian rupees, applied to whichever karat purity and weight you choose. That number is identical whether you are in Hyderabad or in a small town three hundred kilometres away - what actually differs between cities in the real world is the local premium a jeweller adds on top (import logistics, making charges, local competition and demand), and this free tool has no way to measure that premium city by city.
Building a separate page for every one of the 225 towns below, each showing that same identical number with only the town's name swapped in, would be exactly the kind of thin, near-duplicate content that provides no real extra value to a reader and that search engines are right to treat with suspicion. Instead, we built dedicated pages for the twelve cities with genuinely the largest search volume and the most distinct local context worth writing about, and this single, honest reference table for everyone else - the town names below are real search-interest data, not filler.
How to read the table
The "Relative search interest" column reflects the combined monthly search volume across every local gold-rate keyword variant we found for that city or town (for example "gold rate today X", "today gold rate in X", "X gold price today"), sourced from keyword research data. It is a relative ranking, not a live statistic that updates - use it to judge how large a local market is, not as a price figure. For an actual price, use the calculator on the homepage or on one of the twelve dedicated city pages linked from the table.

The city and town names in the table below come from keyword research covering the full "gold rate today" search family for the Indian market - every distinct city or town name that appears attached to a local gold-rate search phrase ("gold rate today in X", "X gold price today", and similar variants) was extracted, deduplicated, and ranked by combined monthly search interest. State names, jewellery-brand names (which are trademarks, not places) and clearly malformed or non-geographic search terms were filtered out, leaving a list of 225 genuine cities and towns spanning every major Indian state, from metros with over a million combined monthly searches down to smaller district towns with a few thousand.

Building near-identical pages for all 225 towns, each showing the same number with only the name changed, would be low-value duplicate content rather than something genuinely useful.
Is the search-interest ranking updated in real time?
No. The ranking reflects keyword research data collected during this site's construction and is a relative indicator of local market size, not a live or frequently-updated statistic. The gold rate figure itself, shown on the homepage and the twelve city pages, is what updates live.
